About Us

It all began with a love of food.  The love of eating gave way to the love of cooking and eventually incorporated a fascination with the entire experience of dining.  We are not your average catering company.  Rob has a passion for food and service that is simply unmatched by our competition.  After over 20 years of service in the industry, we are “hungrier” than ever!  The guys at Nuttin To It promise to treat all of our clients like family.

Rob started out in the business at the young age of 14 as a bus boy and food runner, eventually working his way through the ranks of the industry as Executive Chef and General Manager of local restaurants.  His grandfather who owned one of New York’s most successful catering restaurants through the late 1980’s inspired Rob.  Rob’s flare for cooking came from his late mother who had a knack for entertaining and crowd pleasing, hence one of our signature dishes, “Chicken Carol” found on our American Nouveau menu.  Rob has worked under many highly touted trained chefs and has taken each of their techniques and talents to put a twist on them. Rob likes to add his own spice to the food to liven your taste buds and create an unforgettable dining experience.  Once you try Rob’s Pulled Pork from our BBQ MENU, you will understand why it’s our best selling item!

Since opening our doors in 2009, we have prided ourself on quality and customer service and it shows.  We have accomodated many special needs and have diversified our talents to work with many different clients.  We have a top-notch day care catering service, serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks to many growing children.  We also provide catering to all local TD Bank outfits.  Nuttin To It was the backstage caterer for the Pleasantville Music Festival feeding talent such as Jakob Dylan, Kevin Bacon, Rusted Root and Carney, and we anticipate repeating in 2011.  The latest adventure we have been fortunate enough to be involved in is film set catering.  We worked on the set of the Onion News Network, and Comedy Central pilots for Michael Ian Black, and Christian Finnegan as well. We just finished providing catered meals to chef Rocco Dispirito and his cast and crew on an upcoming show to be aired on Bravo in June 2011 titled "Rocco's Dinner Party".  Chef Rocco had very nice things to say about our food, which made the long hours worth it!

So whether you need food for a small affair, or want to host a large outdoor barbeque without doing all of the work, be sure to call or email us today and we would be happy to work with you to make your event the talk of the neighborhood!  We are very happy to accomodate to all allergy requests, and can prepare nearly all of our dishes gluten-free.
